Malta Enterprise provides support for companies to develop new technologies and processes that will lead to job creation, increased market share and access to new markets.

ERDF Innovation Actions

Financial assistance to help SMEs meet today’s business challenges by stimulating short to medium term projects that result in product, service, process or organizational innovation.

Loan of Highly Qualified Experts

SMEs can benefit from the temporary engagement of highly qualified experts to work on innovative projects. This incentives makes available part financing of the costs directly related to the secondment of such personnel, seconded from a research organisation or large enterprise.

Preparatory Technical Feasibility Studies

Since highly innovative initiatives are associated with high risk enterprises may opt to undertake technical feasibility studies to determine that the proposed project is based on sound principals. This incentive supports in carrying out such studies.
