The Corporation
Malta Enterprise works closely with Malta Industrial Parks Ltd, responsible for the administration and maintenance of various industrial estates and the factories located within.
Malta Enterprise is committed to attracting foreign investment to Malta as well as providing the necessary support and assistance to businesses operating on the islands to improve their international competitiveness.
The corporation operates under an Executive Chairman and a Board of Directors appointed by the Minister of Finance, the Economy and Investment. The Chief Operations Officer is responsible for the daily management of the corporation. A Senior Management Team deals with the ongoing delivery of the corporation’s services and is split into various operating divisions spanning diverse business disciplines.

The Board is composed of 8 members, many of whom come from the private business sector. The Board oversees the performance and strategic direction of Malta Enterprise. It is also responsible for ensuring the highest standards of operation, efficiency and correctness in the use of public funds.

Overseeing and coordinating the relationship between Malta Enterprise, national and international institutions, government, diplomatic missions and trade policy advice.
Legal, Regulatory and Compliance
Managing, controlling and coordinating the corporation's legal and regulatory services.
Corporate Governance
Developing, implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to increase accountability, performance and integrity.
Information Management
Management of information; information technology and related support.
Experience Management & Development
Business and investment consultancy; economic and market research; the development of incentives; as well as quality and process improvement.
Incentive Management
Manages incentives and related activities, including performance implementation and monitoring.
Trade, Investment & Enterprise Support
Targets markets overseas by promoting new foreign investment into Malta and re-investment, internationalization of companies based in Malta; client relations and holistic support to enterprise.
Project Management
Planning, development and monitoring of diverse projects and related activities.
Property Management
Management of Government owned industrial estates.
Corporate Affairs
Responsible for various corporate functions such financial management; procurement; general administration.
