Advanced Manufacturing Eureka Call & EEN Brokerage Event

An InfoDay on the Multilateral Eureka Network Call for Projects on Advanced Manufacturing will be held at the Eureka Secretariat in Brussels on March 30th, 2017. The event will also serve to introduce SMART, the new EUREKA Cluster Initiative on Advanced Manufacturing, which aims to promote international, collaborative R&D&I projects among key stakeholders of the value chain (including large industries, SMEs, research institutes and academia).

Besides learning how set up their project, prepare their proposal and obtain funding, delegates will also have the possibility of participating in a brokerage event whereby they will have easy access to relevant players in the field of Advanced Manufacturing. In this manner, they would be able to find project partners for their Eureka projects and start gaining advantage of R&D&I cooperation.

This Call is focused on developing innovative products, processes or service systems in the field of Advanced Manufacturing. Applicants are expected to develop ready-to-market solutions for products, technology-based services or methods in relevant thematic area.​ The main themes around which R&D projects could be considered include:

  • Advanced Manufacturing Processes
  • Intelligent & Adaptive Manufacturing Systems - Mechatronics
  • Person - Machine Collaboration
  • Sustainable Manufacturing
  • Customer Based Manufacturing
  • Digital, Virtual & Efficient Companies

The deadline for the submission of the Project Outline is April 21st, 2017. Participants in projects under this call based in Malta would be supported through the Research and Development 2014-2020 support measure.
