Malta Enterprise is organising a business delegation to the Sultanate of Oman towards the end of April, 2015 to promote investment and enhance industrial collaboration between the two countries in various sectors.
The business delegation will be led by the Minister for the Economy, Investment and Small Business, Hon. Chris Cardona and is being undertaken in collaboration with the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Malta and Bank Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman.
Expressions of Interest from companies with innovative concepts and business development proposals should be sent for consideration to Malta Enterprise. The proposals, focusing on investment, innovation or trade, should be in the following sectors:
- Healthcare
- Oil & Gas and logistics
- Education
- Hospitality
- Software & ICT
- Food & Beverage
- Precision mechanical engineering
- Aquaculture
The delegation will be composed of 15 companies and Expressions of Interest will be adjudicated on the basis of:
- The usiness case presented, including the innovation, business development or trade potential;
- The company’s experience in the Middle East region; and
- The company’s track record in international business.
Malta Enterprise will strive to set one-to-one meetings for the selected companies as well as provide cost reimbursement for part of the expenses.
