Business First representatives will be meeting and assisting clients with information on the various schemes, support services and other assistance they can avail themselves of at the Malta Trade Fair, which is currently ongoing at the MFCC in Ta' Qali.
During the Fair's opening hours between 18:30h and 23:00h, the Business First representatives will be located on the Government of Malta stand together with representatives from the Employment and Training Corporation, providing assistance with a focus on employment and business.
While the Fair is ongoing, the Business First office in Pietà will be closing every weekday at 17:00h and will not have any extended opening hours on Wednesdays and Thursdays, when it normally
remains open until 19:00h to accommodate clients who might not be able to visit at an earlier time.
The extended hours on these days will resume upon the end of the Fair on July 8th, 2012.
Since its launch just over five months ago in January, Business First has had almost 5,000 contacts with clients who were enquiring about and applying for the vast range of services it offers.
Business First gathers more than 50 Government services for businesses previously provided from different departments or entities under one roof, thereby making it easier for businesses to focus on their own operations by reducing unnecessary running around.
Amongst others, Business First provides services related to the Legal Entity Establishment, Employment Registration, Registration for Tax and VAT services, Residence permits, Licenses including trading and tourism-related licenses, as well as applications related to utilities services.
The growth and successful operation of businesses is also supported through the guidance and provision of Malta Enterprise schemes and services.
