Centrecom, a Maltese registered company that offers call centre customer service support services, announced that it will be relocating its offices to Mosta Technopark, where it will also expand its operations and double its workforce from the current 250 to 500 employees.
Forming part of the World Aviation Group, the company provides call centre services in multiple languages including English, German, French, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Russian and Maltese. In addition, the company also provides revenue accounting services mainly for the airline industry, backoffice services, payroll services and airline representation services. Its client base is quite vast and includes both local companies - such as Air Malta and government departments - as well as international comapnies such as Serenata Flowers and Deepomatic.
Malta nowadays hosts a number of call centre activities that range from activities related to government services, financial services, aviation, content moderation and specialized activities in the area of IT. Apart from Centrecom, other companies operating within this sector in Malta - which currently employs around 1,500 full time equivalent employees - include HSBC, Besedo, TEK IT Malta, ZP Services, and Krosscall Ltd.
