ME seminar highlights opportunities in India

 

The myriad of commercial opportunities that India offers to Maltese entrepreneurs wishing to do business in the country were highlighted during a seminar organised by Malta Enterprise and which was attended by around 30 entrepreneurs operating in a wide range of sectors.

The High Commissioner of India to Malta H.E. Anil Trigunayat said that India's economy - which is among those registering the highest growth rates in the world and managed to do so even during the global economic crisis - offers all kind of opportunities.

Deadline for Submission of Applications: 4th April, 2013 at 20:00hrs

The Eurostars Programme is a European Joint Programme dedicated to the R&D performing SMEs, and co-funded by the European Communities and 33 EUREKA member countries.

Eurostars is a bottom-up programme.  Project applications are accepted from any technological domain, for any market.  The only restriction is that the project outcome must be destined for civilian purposes.

ME entrusted with Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme

 

Malta Enterprise in collaboration with Stiftelsen Europa Institutet in Sweden will be working to facilitate exchanges for entrepreneurs between Malta and Sweden within the framework of the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme.

Partly funded by the European Commission, which gave its green light to the collaboration between the organisations in Malta and Sweden, the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs exchange programme offers new entrepreneurs the possibility to work for up to six months with an experienced entrepreneur in another EU country.

Sale of Machinery and Equipment

Malta Industrial Parks Ltd is offering for sale - on tale quale basis as one single lot - equipment and sundry items including an old model of a data card printing machine.   Items may be viewed on Thursday, 17 January 2013 between 10:00 and 12:00 hours at Mosta Technopark (entrance opposite Mosta football ground).

Offers for the whole lot should be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Disposal of Machinery & Equipment" at the offices of Malta Industrial Parks, Pieta by not later than 12:00 hours (noon) on Monday, 21st January 2013.

ME hosts seminar on Doing Business with Cuba

Malta Enterprise has organised a Seminar for local entrepreneurs interested in doing business with Cuba, whereby information was provided on the business environment and the opportunities that the Caribbean country offers to those wishing to expand their business in the region.

The seminar commenced with a presentation by Isamary González Jover, the Counsellor at the Cuban Embassy in Rome responsible for Economic and Commercial Affairs, who gave a detailed overview of the country from a range of perspectives, including amongst others business and tourism.
